I started reading Unshelved a couple of years ago when a fellow Firefly fan pointed me to the series of strips where Dewey uses Firefly trivia as criteria for entering the library. Unshelved is about libraries and librarians in the same way that Dilbert is about software engineers and software development - sure, there are some specific jokes around the premise, but mostly it's about the oddities of human nature that we all encounter every day. And boy, are these people odd! It's hilarious and I recommend it to anyone who deals with the public at work or anyone who IS the public for some poor slob. Comment | Permalink | (Report this)
