About the Author
I am a Native of Florida and have never really been outside of the state for any long period of time. Some people think I have cheated myself by not allowing myself to explore different places, and for those people, I say, "Maybe you're right, and maybe you're wrong." Exploration and discovery is in the mind of the explorer, and I have found that I can explore many different things right here and love it! This cookbook is an example of the willingness I have to take a chance at the unknown...writing and encouraging others to step outside of their own comfort zones, and yes, even when it comes to eating.
I am a mother of two children. The first was born when I was 16 years old and the next at 19...and it was not easy at all. But we managed, and I went to college and obtained a bachelor's degree in liberal studies with a concentration in behavioral science. I have held many different certifications ranging from Emergency Medical Technician to Certified Credit Report Reviewer. I currently work fulltime and manage to keep up with my children's busy schedules. My desire in life is to own and operate a chain of Consumer Advocate businesses that emphasize on educating and providing help to those in need. In addition to that, I would love to open a huge facility where the youth can come and learn, grow, dance, play music, read, and discover their own potentials and grow into the people they want to be.
