Two hobbies in one!!!----Scrapbooking and Genealogy. Within the almost 200 pages of this book, you will find everything you need to create a wonderful keepsake of your family history. You can begin by downloading all the checklists, forms page planners and worksheets you need for FREE! Yep, FREE! The URL is on page 11. Then move on two the first chapter --- Getting Started. This describes the different types of history projects you could do such as school memories or family stories. Other information in this chapter includes project organization, finding time, photo layout planners, supplies you will need, places to find the information including Internet sites, a sample letter to send when you are requesting information and a research log to keep track of where you have look and who you have asked. Interspersed in this chapter are color layouts of various scrapbook pages to kick start your own creative ideas. The rest of the book is laid out in chapters that include family, babies, childhood/teen years, adult years and family traditions. Each page within each chapter has a scrapbook layout on one side and a worksheet or photo layout page on the other. When you read the information on the pages, you will see how the information that was gathered was laid out/used to create a history keepsake. There are ideas for color and embellishments such as 3-D flowers, buttons or lace. The final pages provide a six page supply list of items used to create a particular page and an Index divided by albums, checklist forms, page planners and worksheets.
