Designed with a handy built-in conical burr grinder, this space-saving Thermoblock espresso machine features 15-bar pump pressure for consistently authentic espresso with excellent crema. For use with either fresh ground coffee or ESE individual-serving pods, the unit includes two brass filter holders--one for ground coffee and the other for pods. The espresso machine's patented Crema Master filters consistently produce rich genuine crema, and its turbo-jet frother produces plentiful dry steam for a thick milk froth when making cappuccinos or lattes. Two thermostats regulate the coffee cycle and steaming process for the pump, with a third safety thermostat located on the pump in the event of continuous or abnormal use. Other thoughtful details include simple push-button switches, a "ready" indicator light, a removable 1-4/5-liter filtered water reservoir that fills from the back, and visible water levels from the front of the unit. In addition, the unit's AquaStop no-drip system prevents dripping and the need to empty the machine of remnant water, while a cup warmer on top of the machine keeps porcelain cups warm. A built-in coffee tamper and measuring spoon are included, and a removable overflow tray ensures easy clean up. Made of highly polished, brushed stainless steel, the compact espresso machine measures 17-2/3 by 13 by 15 inches and carries a one-year limited warranty.
