Its commercial-quality stainless-steel cutting burrs can be adjusted to 15 different grind sizes for selecting the right consistency for espresso, automatic drip, or French-press brewing. The coffee grinder's cutting burrs turn at just 450 RPM to minimize frictional heating of the grinds, and in turn, preserve the coffee flavor and aroma. Special helical gear controls the delivery of coffee to the burrs for better grind consistency, while a bin seal plate helps position the coffee bin under the grinding spout to prevent coffee grounds from escaping. Its 7-ounce bean hopper and coffee bin are glass to minimize any static "cling" of coffee grounds, and the unit's compact design allows for easy storage on the countertop or in a cabinet.
