Grind coffee with the ease and accuracy of a professional with this coffee grinder by La Pavoni. The bean chamber conveniently holds 4 ounces of coffee (enough for 18 cups) so you won't need to keep refilling it when brewing for a large group. The fineness selector on the left side of the unit has 19--count 'em, 19--settings, from coarse to extra fine. And ground size does matter, as this accurate grinder will soon teach you: use coarse grounds for your French press, medium for your drip machine, and fine for espresso. Happily, this precision machine doesn't leave much room for human error. Set the amount of coffee you are going to grind for the number of cups desired, and an automatic portion timer will hold you to the proper grind time, switching itself off when finished. This heavy-duty grinder grinds slowly with burrs instead of a blade so there's no heat buildup, thereby ensuring those flavorful oils you know and love remain intact. --Jane DePaolo

La Pavoni grinders automatically dial-in the exact amount of coffee required, from 1 to 12 cups and adjust to espresso, coarse and drip settings. Also available in white. Made of sturdy ABS plastic they feature 19 grind settings, a 1/4 lb capacity hopper and removable burrs for cleaning. 130 watt motor, 110 volts, UL listed. 1 Year warranty. Please note: the espresso grind from this grider is appropriate for espresso machines with pressurized filters or filter handles. Not recommended for commercial or semi-commercial espresso makers or La Pavoni lever machines.
