From the Four Star II series by Henckels, this nine-piece cutlery set includes a 2-3/4-inch paring/boning knife, a 4-inch paring knife, a 5-inch serrated utility knife, a 6-inch utility knife, a 7-inch hollow-edge santoku, and an 8-inch chef's knife. The collection also provides a pair of kitchen shears for snipping herbs or opening packages, a 9-inch sharpening steel for keeping all the blades in working order, and a hardwood block for safely storing all the pieces. Each knife features a Friodur ice-hardened blade precision forged from a single piece of high-carbon stainless steel and crafted to hold its edge for a long time. Ergonomic, polypropylene handles offer a smooth shape without rivets or gaps, while a full tang runs from the blade to the end of each handle for added control and balance. The detail of the new stainless-steel cap on the end of the handle with the Twin logo stamp provides an update to a Henckels classic. For best results, wash the knives by hand using a mild cleanser and dry completely. The storage block with all knives in place measures approximately 10-1/2 by 4-1/2 by 12-1/2 inches, and a limited lifetime warranty covers the set. Manufacturer Description  | J.A.
