The wok's aluminum dome lid helps keep in heat and moisture, while its long stay-cool maple-wood handle and helper handle provide a secure grip. For use on a gas or electric burner and oven-safe up to 350 degrees F, the wok's professional-weight 2.0 mm carbon-steel body is comprised of two layers of aluminum surrounding a carbon-steel core to ensure fast, even heating. In addition, its Excalibur reinforced nonstick coating is tough enough for metal tools and carries a 25-year warranty.
