Packed in an attractive hard brushed-aluminum case, this exquisite carving set makes an elegant presentation. The sturdy and heavy 6-inch carving fork holds a hefty rib-eye steak or roasted turkey breast with ease and the superior 8-inch blade delivers either thick and juicy or paper-thin slices with ease. Part of Wüsthof’s popular Classic line of cutlery, this knife and fork have a very traditional design. The knife’s blade is hand-forged from high-carbon stain-resistant steel so it retains its sharp edges longer and is easier to resharpen. The blade is also ground and polished by computer to ensure perfect tapering from tip to bolster. A signature feature of Wüsthof knives, the weighted bolster gives this knife the perfect heft.
